Project overview
The Canadian BESS Integration & Energy Solutions Project is a proposed industrial investment initiative to establish battery energy storage system integration, assembly, testing and distribution capabilities in British Columbia, Canada.
The project will source qualified battery storage components and technologies from established manufacturers in China, integrate and assemble complete energy storage systems in Canada, and deliver these systems to Canadian commercial, industrial and energy infrastructure customers.
The initial focus is on system integration rather than battery cell manufacturing.
The long-term objective is to establish a scalable Canadian energy storage enterprise combining equipment sales, technical integration, project delivery and after-sales services.
Business model
Source qualified LFP battery modules, battery cabinets, PCS, BMS, EMS, thermal management systems and related components from established manufacturers in China.
Perform system assembly, electrical integration, configuration, quality assurance and factory acceptance testing at the proposed Canadian facility.
Supply integrated BESS solutions to Canadian commercial and industrial customers, EPC contractors and qualified energy infrastructure projects.
Develop long-term maintenance, monitoring, warranty support and system optimization services.
Products & solutions
All products will require applicable Canadian technical approvals and certification before commercial deployment.
Integrated battery energy storage systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
Container-format systems assembled, configured and tested before delivery.
PCS, BMS and EMS configuration and controls integration for each deployment.
System configurations matched to the customer's load profile and site requirements.
Factory acceptance testing and quality assurance before systems leave the facility.
After-sales monitoring, warranty support and system optimization services.
Market opportunity
British Columbia represents an initial target market for the proposed business. The project intends to serve commercial and industrial customers in BC Hydro's service territory.
The Company also intends to explore participation in BC Hydro-related grid-scale storage opportunities through qualified engineering, procurement and construction partners.

Unit economics
The 20% net profit margin is the project sponsor's internal financial target, based on its current pricing and cost assumptions. It is not independently audited, a historical operating result or a guaranteed investor return.
The Company intends to use cost-responsive commercial pricing to support its target profitability as procurement and operating costs change.
Actual margins will depend on customer pricing, import costs, manufacturing expenses, project execution, taxes and sales volume.
Financial scenarios
Illustrative stabilized annual sales scenarios — not committed orders and not forecasts of guaranteed sales. All scenarios assume the 20% target net profit margin is achieved after applicable expenses and taxes.
| Annual sales | Revenue | Target net profit |
|---|---|---|
| 10 MW | CAD $5,500,000 | CAD $1,100,000 |
| 20 MW | CAD $11,000,000 | CAD $2,200,000 |
| 50 MW | CAD $27,500,000 | CAD $5,500,000 |
| 100 MW | CAD $55,000,000 | CAD $11,000,000 |
